About Me

Welcome! My teaching style is deeply rooted in student based centers. With a centers approach I can further differentiate the activities and curriculum for each student. In addition a centers approach is more engaging for students as they are working closely with the teacher, learning through play, and working with peers. Together we will focus on the Illinois state standards as well as life applications.

I’ve carefully curated a curriculum that blends traditional education with elements from The Good and Beautiful program, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging learning experience for every student.

As a Christ-centered educator, my faith is at the heart of what I do. From the stories we read to the songs we sing, and even during our dedicated Bible time, you’ll see how faith plays a pivotal role in our learning environment.

• Comprehensive Records: I provide full transparency with attendance records, assessments, and report cards, so parents and guardians are always informed of their child's progress.

• Personalized Lessons: One of the biggest advantages of a smaller class size is the ability to tailor lessons to each student's individual abilities and needs. This allows for a more personalized and effective learning experience.

• Life Skills Focus: Beyond academics, my classes also emphasize essential life skills such as motor skills, gardening, and cooking. These hands-on activities help nurture well-rounded, capable individuals.
